Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Architectural Vase Workshop
Overview
Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Architectural Vase Workshop
Inspired by the timeless architectural forms of Frank Lloyd Wright and the natural beauty of handcrafted ceramics, this unique handbuilding workshop invites students to create a sculptural ceramic vase that blends art, design, and function.
In this 2.5-hour guided class, students will learn slab-building techniques while constructing their own architectural vase form featuring flowing rooflines, carved surfaces, and personalized decorative details. Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art - equally beautiful as a vase, lantern, or decorative sculpture.
No pottery experience is necessary. This workshop is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering plenty of creative freedom for experienced makers.
Your class includes:
- All clay, tools, materials, and instruction
- Step-by-step guided handbuilding process
- Texture and surface design techniques
- Professional glazing and kiln firing by Glotfelty Pottery
- One finished ceramic piece ready for pickup
Students may choose from our curated glaze selections, and we will professionally glaze and fire each piece after the workshop.
Whether you come with friends, family, or for a creative date night, this class offers a relaxing and inspiring studio experience rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and architectural beauty.
