Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience to take a class?
No. The majority of our students start as complete beginners. Our single classes and beginner-friendly sessions are built specifically for first-time makers, and our instructors will guide you step by step.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes you do not mind getting clay on. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. We suggest tying back long hair and removing rings or bracelets before working at the wheel. Aprons are provided.
Is clay, glaze, and firing included?
For most classes, yes - clay, glaze, and firing of your finished pieces are included in tuition. Specific inclusions are listed on each class page.
How long does it take to get my finished piece back?
Pottery is a slow craft. After you make a piece, it must dry, be bisque fired, glazed, and fired a second time. Plan on roughly 2 to 4 weeks before your finished work is ready for pickup.
Can I take a class with a friend or partner?
Absolutely. Many of our students sign up together. If you want a fully private experience for a group, see our Group Events page.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes - gift certificates are available for any class, workshop, or studio pass. Contact us by phone or email to purchase.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the class start date receive a full refund or credit. Within 7 days, tuition can be transferred to another session as schedule allows. No-shows are non-refundable.
Is the studio accessible?
Please contact us directly so we can discuss accommodations and make sure your visit is comfortable and successful.
How do I register?
Most programs allow you to register directly through this website. For private lessons, group events, and custom workshops, please reach out by phone or email and we will get you scheduled.
